Susan's Shanghai Blog - Week 62

This blog is a somewhat quick week to finish up with Chinese New Year.

The last week has been dreadful from a weather perspective .. just look at how LOW the clouds (or pollution) are!

And a quick view of the towers the one day that we actually could see the top! This is taken from a different angle to try to get a better view of how tall the Shanghai Tower is now, compared to JinMao. It definately looks like the Shanghai Tower is now taller than JinMao, although it is also a block closer to us.

And now Chinese New Year decorations ... these first ones are in the HSBC building in Pudong, and you can see how they are having a little bit of fun with the "year of the snake" with the cute little green snake!

The IFC mall, on the other hand, seems to have gone with chubby gold fish this year instead of trying to do anything with snakes.

And a couple from the lobby of JinMao.

And now, the fireworks ...some of these are more successful than others, but these are the fireworks before we left for Cambodia that were put off near out apartment, taken from our balcony.

Next week will start our Cambodian vacation!
