Our Blog - Oppède, France

This will be a very short blog entry since we really didn't stay in the town of Oppède. We stayed at Mas Dansavan, which has 5 rooms that are rented as a B&B as well as two holiday rentals (gîtes that hold between 6 and 10 people). It is a guest house dating back to 1820. While we didn't specifically ask for it, we ended up in a little cottage out between fields of grapes and lavender. Interestingly enough, we didn't even see this one listed on their website as a room! The lavender had already been harvested but the grapes were plumping up nicely on the vines. We were a couple minutes walk from the rest of the property where breakfast was served and the pool was, but being able to just walk out the door and let Lucy roam semi-free was nice.
