Our Blog - Bretagne Trip - Summer 2021 - Laber beach

Roscoff sits on the North coast and just nearby is the Plage de Laber (there is an old chateau across the street that gives the beach its name). It was low tide so the beach was really large. We were able to walk out quite a bit along the west side of a very large inlet, along a peninsula called the Presqu'île de Perharidi. Lucy got to chase some birds as well as getting in some playtime with the ball. Here, you can see the town of Roscoff across the bay in the first picture, and some of the peninsula in the second. The third was trying to get a perspective of how big this beach was. We noticed several beaches that, due to how flat the area was, when the tide goes out, the beach becomes absolutely huge compared to high tide (where they may just be a few meters of sand visible).

Tom likes to play this little "game" with Lucy before throwing the ball ... and you can see how excited she is, hopping around like a crazy-puppy.

This one is somewhat boring (sorry) ... Lucy was just wading out into the water ...

And then her coming back with a little hop here and there.

And then, the happy-roll in the sand to make sure she is totally dirty before getting into the car!
