Our Blog - Bretagne Trip - Summer 2021 - Plage de Kervel

This was the worst weather day of our trip. We headed out to the Plage de Kervel (Kerevel beach) and what started as a little mist turned into a full-on rain storm. Unfortunately, one of the things we realized we forgot to pack were our rain pants (which we have for golf but just didn't think to pack them). We continued to let Lucy play on the beach while we got absolutely drenched. We met up with another couple (who were better prepared for the weather than we were) with a dog that Lucy liked to play with. The beach here was very wide during low tide ... the land there is very flat and so a small rise in the water level during high tide brings the water all the way in to the little cliffs. During low tide, the beach ends up being the size of a couple football fields!
