Lucy Blog - Lucy 19 monthsIt has actually been a rather uneventful month in the Life of Lucy. The weather has been less-than-ideal and with restaurants and cafes still closed, it isn't like we want to take any weekend trips anywhere. I don't remember when this video was taken, but it is a quick play with Pogo, who we sometimes meet up with in the park behind our apartment. Pogo is sometimes a little aggressive with Lucy although she never seems to cry about it.
We went back to the puppy recreation when they restarted them on Sunday mornings. It was a little different since they had to limit the number of people. So it was an hour instead of 90 minutes, and they ended up with 2 different sessions (9-10am and 10-11am). The small race session, which Lucy attends, was at 9am. We also signed up for another agility class on Saturday morning. Lucy likes the tunnels during the puppy recreation and so we thought she would enjoy the agility classes. We had taken 1 class before the previous lockdown and so when they rescheduled them, we decided to try them again. We signed up and then we got a message from the master of one of her best play-buddies, Potter, asking if we wanted to meet before the class to let the two dogs play together. There is an open field next to the school that they had play together in the week before (meeting up by chance maybe 10 minutes before a class) and so we made a rendezvous at 8:30am. A nice shot of them in the field with the sunrise, and then a video of them playing.
We get such a kick out of watching Lucy and Potter ... check out how Lucy hip-checks Potter ... then they stop and just look at each other for a couple seconds, and then right back at it!
Then the Agility class. There were 3 of us signed up, and so we did 10 minutes of class and then went into a different area to wait while the other 2 dogs did their 10 minutes each, then we did another 10 minutes. Lucy also got so play with Potter again for the 10 minutes that the 3rd dog was doing their agility work. These were taken by the trainer during the class.
Lucy playing with a couple beagles: Romie and Roukey. She normally doesn't like to play with more than 1 dog at a time, so this was a little interesting for us to see.
And I'll finish up with a few pictures that Lucy actually somewhat posed for. The grasses may look familiar: it is one of her favorite little play areas in the park.
